February 2010 Bahnson Mechanical Systems receives order from Duke Energy Corporation for mechanical upgrades to their College Street Data Center. Bahnson Mechanical Systems, a subsidiary of Bahnson, Inc. has been awarded an order by Duke Energy Corporation for the provision of services to replace, modify, and upgrade mechanical equipment for their College Street Data Center. Included is demolition, replacement, and up fit of cooling towers, installation of new chillers and boilers, and modification of 23 self contained computer room units. This is a mission critical facility housing main data center operations. All work will be performed in close coordination with Duke Energy to allow day-to-day date center operations to proceed without interruption.
