There are many technical, environmental, and social reasons, why we as a country are looking towards alternative energy sources. Efforts to reduce pollutants and greenhouse gases are a national priority and primary focus in today's culture. Alternative or renewable energy, sources show significant promise in helping to reduce the amount of pollutants that are by-products of fossil energy use. Not only do they protect against harmful by-products, but using alternative energy helps to preserve many of the natural resources that we currently use as sources of energy.

In early 2006, Bahnson recognized the viability of the alternative energy markets and dedicated efforts to participate in these emerging markets. Since our entry into these markets, we have provided mechanical, millwright, and process piping services to construct ethanol production facilities with an annual output in excess of 100 million gallons of low-carbon ethanol, and provided mechanical, and process piping services to construct production facilities manufacturing polysilicon wafers for photovoltaic application.
