Our Commitment to Safety, Health and the Environment

We are unequivocally committed to the safety, health and wellbeing of our employees, employees of our clients, employees of other suppliers we work alongside, and the environment in which we all live. We believe the safety and health of our employees and their wellbeing can be enhanced through the development and implementation of intentional strategies promoted and supported by senior management. These strategies reinforce our belief that the safety, health and wellbeing of our employees and the protection of our environment is of utmost importance. Maintenance of a safe and healthy working environment at all times is of both monetary and human value, with human value being of far greater value to the employer, the employee and the community.

We believe:
  • All injuries and accidents are preventable through establishment and compliance with safe work procedures.
  • Management must be committed to the pursuit of excellence regarding safety, health and environmental performance beyond any other organizational function.
  • The prevention of bodily injury, safeguarding of health and protection of the environment are the first considerations in all workplace activities and are the responsibility of every employee at every level.
  • Written safety plans describing the safe work practices and procedures to be practiced in all workplace actions are an essential element of the overall workplace safety program. All employees at every level are responsible for knowing and following the safety practices described in the written safety plans.
  • Employee involvement provides the means through which workers develop and/or express their own commitment to safety, health and protection of the environment.
  • Off the job, all employees should be similarly careful and demonstrate awareness of potential hazards.

"We will plan and prepare our every task to control risk and devote our attention to eliminate unplanned incidents throughout our organization during the performance of our work."
